Our second to last day was definitely the best. We left the hotel early for our trip to Catalina. The day got off to an auspicious start. The first place we went was the Rio Chavon, where parts of the movies "Jurrasic Park," "Rambo II," and "Apocalypse Now" were filmed. To us it just looked like a muddy river. One poor woman actually break her leg getting off the bus to get onto the boat. The best part of the morning was getting to know Diana and her father from Braga, Portugal. They started the day off right dancing on the boat. After Rio Chavon we went to the Alto's de Chavon in Casa de Campo. This was a village built as a birthday present in the 60's and has a cool amphitheatre. After that we finally got onto a boat for our ride out to the Island to spend the rest of the afternoon. After a nice lunch of lobster and an amazing Salmon salad we hung out on the beach and snorkeled until it was time to go home.
