So, each month one of the companies on our Forward Operating Base sponsors a competition. The events have ranged from a weight lifting competition to a hotdog eating contest. This month the Pathfinder unit on the FOB put on a infantry challenge. We started at 500 am and finished a little after seven. There were six teams in the event and each team had four soldiers on the team. There were six events. The first was five minutes each of pull-ups, sit-ups, and push-ups. Then we had a 2.5 mile litter carry. After that we had a trailer pull followed by a one mile run. Then, we had a stress shoot and a weapons assembly test. Finally, we had another one mile run with 30 seconds of dizzy bat and then a final sprint.

Passing another company on the litter carry before we figured out what we called "active resting."

Active resting, one guy in the front, two guys at the back and one person resting. No team was within ten minutes of us. Some finished over an hour slower.

The easiest event of the competition. Moving a double axle trailer. Each team got full points here.

The stress shoot. Each team member got three bullets. Closest overall shot group won. We would have won this event, but one person only got one bullet on the paper.

We had to put together three weapons; a Machine Gun, a rifle, and a pistol. I took the easy one. We crushed this event as well.

Run the downhills, walk the uphills.

Dizzy bat, everyone is a looser.

Sprint to the finish.

The Champions.
