Finally, flight! It seems like it took forever but I finally got off the ground today. It was actually a beautiful day, which is a change from the normal lately. We just stayed local on the flight performing what is called Combat Crew Training (CCT). Nothing special, although I landed in snow for the first time ever. It was a lot like landing in really loose sand, which we used to do down south every once in a while. The only nuisance for the flight was all the traffic at Bagram. Several times we had to make 360's in the pattern. But, that is to be expected as the hub for all military flights in a theater. Overall, I didn't flip the helicopter over and no one shot at us so it was a good flight.
