Daybreak from my first office. It is getting close to the time that we are going to switch to the actual Brigade Tactical Operations Center (TOC), but the porch we had on our old office was kind of nice. You can see the mountains surrounding us in the distance. The building at the far left is the "Mayor Cell." That is was the Headquarters Company in the Brigade runs. They take care of all the facilities for our little part of Bagram. The two story buildings are the showers. The one story building to the right is very popular because it was one of the few "porcelain" toilet locations on base. It is in parenthesis because the seats are still actually plastic. But, people like them because the Afghans don't climb up on the sides of these toilets like they do the regular port-a-potties.

climb up on the side? i don't get why they would do that...
In the arab world they don't use toilets, they use holes in the ground. So they climb up on the side to just use it as a hole
